Technologies rewriting the rules in the construction industry
The digital transformation of the construction sector is no longer a projection of the future, but a reality that Leviatan Group’s specialists are building day by day. At InnoConstruct 2025 – Digital 2win, the leading event for innovation in construction, organized by the TEC Cluster with the support of Leviatan Group, Leviatan specialists revealed how advanced technologies and artificial intelligence are becoming reliable allies in modern construction projects.
Cătălin Podaru, CEO of Leviatan Group, and Maria Văsi, Head of Operational and Transformation at Leviatan Group, delivered captivating keynote speeches at the conference. They showed how digital innovation is raising the standards of quality and efficiency in construction.
Advanced technologies on the Leviatan Group booth at InnoConstruct
At the Leviatan Group booth at InnoConstruct, participants could discover the NavVis VLX 2 scanner and the Meta Quest 3 headset, two of the advanced equipment used by Leviatan experts in construction projects, presented in a news report by PRO TV.

“The NavVis VLXX2 delivers many light pulses into the environment through the LiDAR sensors on the front and top of the equipment. These measure the distance between the sensors and surrounding objects and pick up color, light, and surface texture information via RGB cameras. The collected data is then processed, resulting in a point cloud – a 3D representation of reality,” explained Samuel, Building Design Technician at Leviatan Design.
By adopting cutting-edge technologies, Leviatan specialists demonstrate how innovation accelerates the transformation of traditional processes and provides innovative and efficient solutions in delivering construction projects.
Virtual assistants on construction sites, an imminent reality
Cătălin Podaru, CEO of Leviatan Group, delivered one of the most eagerly awaited presentations at InnoConstruct 2025, where he discussed the use of artificial intelligence tools for on-site quality checks and control during the panel “How 2-win BIM implementation: success stories & lessons learned.”
“SiteCheck AI is a tool under testing and has not yet been deployed, but the results and analysis are conclusive. The volume of data processed is much higher than what a human can process. If people have a virtual assistant on the construction site, we think they will be much more efficient and work in an immersive way,” said Cătălin Podaru, CEO of Leviatan Group.
This solution, developed by eConfaire Immersive Design, the Research & Development division of Leviatan Group, can fundamentally change how work is carried out on construction sites, ensuring better quality of execution in less time.
TwinBot, an AI-based robot for Digital Twin
In the third panel of the conference, “Advanced & smart technologies: AI, AR & VR, GIS, scanning and robots,” Maria Văsi, Head of Operational and Transformation at Leviatan Group, discussed TwinBot, an AI-based robot for Digital Twin, and later participated in the discussion about the first steps in BIM adoption in SMEs and large organizations.
“Holistic Digital Twin focuses on the whole construction ecosystem, where all components, processes, and data are collected, connected, and used in a unified and coherent way. This approach already allows us to quickly collect data from the field at all essential stages of execution, process it in an automated and easy way to check the quality of the execution works, comparing the designed 3D model with the executed model. Another use of this holistic approach is the possibility of training robots to perform precise and recurrent missions for data collection during execution integrated directly into our collaborative platform, as well as other automation, testing and simulation tasks of various scenarios, in a project currently under development in the Leviatan Lab,” explained Maria Văsi, Head of Operational and Transformation at Leviatan Group.
This technology opens new perspectives, enabling artificial intelligence-based robots to automate and optimize processes in construction projects.
Speeding up digitalization in the construction sector
For Leviatan Group experts, participating in InnoConstruct 2025 – Digital 2win was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how cutting-edge technologies and artificial intelligence radically transform the construction industry.
This experience confirms Leviatan Group’s commitment to remain at the forefront of innovation and to shape the future of construction through smart, sustainable, and efficient solutions. Leviatan specialists continue investing in emerging technologies and developing solutions that transform today’s challenges into future opportunities.
Solutions such as SiteCheck AI, which optimizes site checks and quality control, and TwinBot, the artificial intelligence-based robot for Digital Twin, are just two solutions that can accelerate the digitalization process in the construction sector.
For the Leviatan Group, innovation is not just a goal but a promise to build better, safer, and more responsibly every day.
