From October 7 to 9, 2026, Vlad Duhan and Andrei Micu, representatives of the Leviatan Group, participated in two major events in Chișinău dedicated to regional security.
On October 7, Leviatan Group was one of the partners of the conference “From Strategic Requirements to Industrial Capacity,” organized by the Euro-Atlantic Institute for Strengthening Resilience (IEACR), in partnership with the Aspen Institute Romania, the WatchDog.MD Community, the New Strategy Center, and ROMDEF.
At the event, Vlad Duhan, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Leviatan Group and a member of the ROMDEF Board of Directors, spoke on the “Pathways to Industrial Capacity” panel.

His speech highlighted the essential role of military mobility, resilient infrastructure, and specialized construction in strengthening defense capabilities. Roads, bridges, warehouses, and facilities that enable the rapid movement of forces and equipment are fundamental to security, and Romanian companies already developing these capabilities can directly support the Republic of Moldova in this effort.
A concrete outcome of the conference was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between ROMDEF and Regional Strategic Technologies House (ReSTeH), which opens opportunities for joint projects between companies from the two countries and for their integration into European and regional value chains.
Between October 8–9, Vlad Duhan and Andrei Micu also participated in the Moldova Security Forum 2026, an event dedicated to the region’s main security challenges and the strengthening of international cooperation, which brought together high-ranking officials and experts in security and defense, including Maia Sandu, President of the Republic of Moldova, Radmila Shekerinska, Deputy Secretary General of NATO, and Andrius Kubilius, European Commissioner for Defense and Space.

The two events highlighted the importance of an integrated approach to regional security, in which developing industrial capabilities, critical infrastructure, and cross-border cooperation strengthen resilience and defense capabilities.
As a founding member of ROMDEF, Leviatan Group supports these partnerships and contributes its expertize in critical infrastructure and specialised construction.
Beyond these initiatives, cooperation between companies in Romania and the Republic of Moldova offers an important avenue for developing joint projects that can strengthen critical infrastructure, resilience, and defense capabilities at the regional level.
