Leviatan Group began 2026 with a renewed commitment to its people and to a working environment built on performance, responsibility, and respect: for the second year in a row, the group obtained Top Employer certification in Romania, awarded by the Top Employers Institute, an international authority in the assessment and recognition of excellence in human resources practices.
This certification reflects the results of a complex analysis that considers essential aspects such as HR strategy, talent development and retention, diversity and inclusion initiatives, organizational innovation, and employee well-being. With its rigorous standards, Top Employer certification confirms an organization’s ability to build a solid, sustainable culture focused on evolution and real impact.
For Leviatan Group, this distinction validates a vision in which organizational excellence is built day by day, through a professional framework that supports individual growth and transforms it into collective value. More than just a set of policies and processes, this approach represents a culture of involvement, where people are encouraged to develop, contribute, and perform in an environment that emphasizes collaboration and trust.
Obtaining certification also has a special significance for the construction industry. Leviatan Group is the first group of construction companies in Romania, with 100% domestic capital, specializing in highly complex Design & Build projects, and is the first to receive this recognition at the national level. The group is among only 45 organizations certified in Romania in 2026, part of a global community of nearly 2,500 organizations in 131 countries and regions.
Certification Celebration 2026
In early March, several members of the Leviatan team represented the group at Certification Celebration 2026, an event organized by the Top Employers Institute in Berlin dedicated to organizations recognized internationally for their high standards in people management and development that were certified as Top Employers this year.

The event brought together nearly 700 participants from over 90 organizations worldwide. It provided a valuable setting for dialogue, idea exchange, and connections among HR leaders, change promoters, and teams actively contributing to the redefinition of the future of work. The atmosphere celebrated not only performance but also organisations’ responsibility to build relevant, modern, and sustainable professional experiences for people.
“Under the theme ‘A Night Full of Stars,’ the event achieved something rare by combining elegance with substance. It fostered a space where people celebrated organizational excellence not as an end, but because of a genuine commitment to individuals. I felt this in every detail of the evening, in the speeches, in the energy of the room, in the stories of the organizations around us. Two moments stood out to me. The first was the new CEO’s speech, Adrian Seligman. He introduced a term I had never heard articulated so precisely: stagility, stability and agility, intertwined. A word for the times we live in, where you can no longer choose between being solid and being flexible. You must be both, at the same time. The second moment was the celebration of David Plink, the former CEO who led the Top Employers Institute for 14 years. His presence on stage spoke louder than any speech: that those who blaze the trail, who set high standards and inspire generations of organizations, deserve to be seen, recognized, and celebrated. I left Berlin with a feeling I consciously seek in my work: the pride of belonging to a community of organizations that put people at the center—not just as a mission statement, but as a daily practice. Alongside the triple BSI Kitemark certification, the Top Employers certification represents Leviatan Group’s test of organizational maturity. We don’t just pass it once. We reconfirm it. Year after year”, said Alina Podaru, Group Chief People & Culture Officer at Leviatan Group.
The group’s specialists actively participate in this event, showcasing their commitment to People & Culture and Employer Branding initiatives. This involvement highlights the direction they have taken in an international context, where organizations increasingly link their performance to the quality of experiences they offer to people.
The Top Employer 2026 certification thus reconfirms that business excellence is built together with people and through people. And for Leviatan Group, this recognition is further proof that investing in organizational culture, development, and well-being generates real, long-term value.
