Leviatan Group supports local entrepreneurs
Leviatan Group, an active supporter of local entrepreneurs, continues collaborating with Contemporia and reaffirms its commitment to the community. This initiative follows Leviatan Group’s constant actions of social responsibility by supporting education and academic and humanitarian initiatives.
Leviatan Group’s sponsorship facilitated the setting up of the Contemporia artists’ creative space and the development of the TABI67 project powered by Leviatan Group, dedicated to the passion for contemporary jewelry and creative workshops. The support provided by the Leviatan Group allowed the Contemporia team to focus exclusively on the development of artistic and entrepreneurial activities.
Located in the heart of Bucharest, on 67A Gheorghe Pop de Băsești Street, close to the iconic Fire Arbor, TABI67 is a vibrant hub for creativity and cultural exchange. The concept of TABI67, powered by Leviatan Group, harmoniously blends the art of contemporary jewelry with the participatory experience of workshops. The space not only provides an opportunity for young local entrepreneurs and artists to showcase their creativity but also promotes the development of practical skills in an inspiring setting.
‘Tabi,’ a Japanese word that means ‘journey’ or ‘voyage,’ implies the act of traveling or exploring new places. The concept of ‘tabi’ is not limited to a physical journey but also includes a particular state of mind or experience related to discovery and adventure.
In the context of the special collaboration between Leviatan Group and Contemporia, around 120 members of the Leviatan team will have the opportunity to participate in different workshops that will take place over 2 years in the creative hub TABI67 powered by Leviatan Group, where they will be able to create their jewelry.
The first workshop in this series took place in March 2025 and proved a real success. Under the guidance of artists from Contemporia, six members of the Leviatan team transformed themselves into true artisans, creating exquisite silver rings whose quality and elegance impress with their refined craftsmanship, like jewelry made by established masters.
“During four hours, we rediscovered the pleasure of working with our hands, in a warm environment, under the guidance of creative and patient people”, said Teodora, Architect at Leviatan Design.
Several members of the Leviatan Group team share a deep passion for art, which they have had the opportunity to showcase through their creations, which they have exhibited at charity events such as Open Your heArt for HOSPICE, the Spring Trinket Market, and others. Through their artistic engagement, they have supported the noble cause of associations such as HOSPICE Casa Speranței or Touched Romania and demonstrated that art, empathy, and generosity can be harmoniously combined to impact the community positively.
By getting involved in this unique project, Leviatan Group reaffirms the importance of supporting local initiatives, creativity, and entrepreneurial development. It proves that a company’s evolution can be inseparably linked to the development of the community it is part of.
“We are super grateful for the collaboration with Leviatan Group for many reasons. One of the most important reasons is that we received the confidence to make artwork on a scale other than jewelry, that we have gained creative freedom, and last but not least, appreciation,” said the artists of Contemporia.
Contemporia is a design studio founded in 2014 by Ioana Streza and Alex Burlacu. Its goal is to be a space for play and experimentation in the visual arts. Over the years, the team has expanded to five members specializing in visual arts and architecture. The studio’s main focus is the creation of contemporary jewelry.
Contemporia’s jewelry is unique or produced in a limited series, combining traditional methods with modern technologies. The creation process starts with an idea and a sketch, evolving in the workshop under the hand of the craftsman, where the metal is shaped with fire and hammer until the final piece reveals its story.
