The “People and Companies for HOSPICE” award, received by Leviatan Group at the HOSPICE 32nd Anniversary Gala

The Leviatan Group team has made it a habit to stand by HOSPICE Casa Speranței and support the foundation’s tireless fight to care for children and adults with incurable diseases.

At the invitation of HOSPICE, Alina Podaru, Chief People Officer at Leviatan Group, had the opportunity to attend the HOSPICE Anniversary Gala, which took place on March 6, 2024, at the CEC Palace, where the HOSPICE team celebrated 32 years of caring for patients with incurable diseases and Leviatan Group received the “People and Companies for HOSPICE” award.

“We chose to support the HOSPICE Foundation with so much passion, because, in today’s fast-paced life, it teaches us to value time, with all it brings and all that it leads to. Thank you for the opportunity to stand by your side each year, in this tower of charity you have been building for the past 32 years”, said, at the event, Alina Podaru, Chief People Officer at Leviatan Group.

The participation of Leviatan team members in this event is not just a tradition, but a token of the deep respect and gratitude they have for the vital work of the HOSPICE team.

“Over the years, employees from all Leviatan Group companies have used all possible mechanisms to support HOSPICE. They have been engaged in volunteering actions, they have run at all sports events where our foundation has been the beneficiary cause, they played the role of Santa Claus for the children of the Socio-Medical Centre in Adunații Copăceni and they have even auctioned art objects at the charity events organized by HOSPICE. They have also made generous donations to our foundation through the 3.5% and 20% employee and company tax rebate schemes. Thanks to the Leviatan Group’s support, HOSPICE Casa Speranței was able to provide 345 days of hospitalization, 540 home visits, and 919 outpatient interventions”, Mirela Nemțanu, CEO of HOSPICE.

For the 4th year in a row, Leviatan Group joined, as a sponsor, the Edelweiss Ball, the most important fundraising event of the year organized by HOSPICE Casa Speranței, which took place on June 6, 2024, at The Tent (Diplomat Club), under the patronage of E. S. Giles Portman, Ambassador of Great Britain in Romania.

Leviatan Group has brought the foundation’s goal of building a hospital dedicated to pediatric palliative care in Adunații Copăceni closer to fruition. Also, another step in the process of materializing this important project has been realized, during this year, by Leviatan specialists, by scanning the building with cutting-edge technologies, to design and arrange the playground in the hospital garden, as well as the interior spaces.

Open your heART for HOSPICE, a Leviatan Group charity event, reached its second edition

Open your heART for HOSPICE, a special event organized by Leviatan Group, with the support of Vastint, on October 31, 2024, at the reception of the TN Offices 3A building in the complex, reached its second edition, and brought to the fore 79 works of art, including paintings, decorative objects and accessories, passionately created by Leviatan team members and artists Anca Dușe, Contemporia and Loretta Lorincz Băluță.

The event, inspired by the Leviatan team’s passion for art and good deeds, generated more than 13.000 lei for HOSPICE Casa Sperantei last year, and this year it brought more than 15.000 lei to the HOSPICE Foundation.

The support given to the foundation, through the organization of the second edition of the charity auction, was able to cover the cost of consultations in the polyclinic for 53 patients, the cost of home visits by the HOSPICE team for 38 patients or the cost of admissions to the unit with beds for 12 patients for one day.

Innovations, present in all construction projects realized by Leviatan Group, were not missing at the Open your heART for HOSPICE event. The bidding process for the works of art was facilitated by an online platform developed by eConfaire Immersive Design specialists, part of the Leviatan Group. A QR code was assigned to each artwork, and by simply scanning it with a mobile phone, event participants could bid for their favorite artworks.

Christmas party for children from HOSPICE, organized with the support of Leviatan Group

With an open heart, the Leviatan Group team brought joy to the children at HOSPICE Casa Speranței, who were looking forward to the Christmas party. From preparing gifts to decorating the party room, the Leviatan team members showed that the spirit of the winter holidays is all about generosity and empathy.

With this Christmas party, the Leviatan Group team marks the end of a year full of good deeds with HOSPICE Casa Speranței and looks forward to new common projects in the coming year, continuing to turn generosity and empathy into concrete actions for the community.
