The Leviatan team uses the symbol of the spring trinkets to bring hope to those in need. Inspired by this, the team organized the Spring Charity Trinkets Market in support of Touched Romania in the spring of 2025.

The first edition united the team’s generosity and raised 7,500 lei for mothers and children in vulnerable situations. The second edition saw even greater participation, and the donation increased to 9,200 lei, which confirms that simple, collective gestures can truly make an impact.

313 spring trinkets and a desire to do good

From February 23-27, 2026, the second edition of the Spring Charity Trinkets Market was held at Leviatan’s headquarters in support of Touched Romania, an association dedicated to improving the lives of children and mothers who are victims of domestic violence, poverty, and social exclusion.

The spring trinkets charms displayed at the fair were crafted with patience and dedication by members of the Leviatan team, their children, and members of the association. Each of the 313 pieces bore the mark of a person who chose to give before receiving. Alongside these, the cookies lovingly prepared by the association’s representatives transformed the fair into an authentic gathering, marked by the warmth of a community united around a common goal.

Alina Podaru, Group Chief People & Culture Officer at Leviatan Group, explained how this initiative came about:

“At the first edition, we realized something simple: Leviatan team members don’t need to be convinced to do good; they just need a context in which they can do it together. The Spring Charity Trinkets Market became that context. And the fact that we’re already at the second edition confirms that it wasn’t just a momentary burst of enthusiasm, but an initiative that truly reflects the team’s values.”

How the team’s involvement turned into tangible support for the association

Through the Leviatan team’s involvement, 9,200 lei were raised, an amount that, in the context of the services offered by Touched Romania, translates to: psychological counseling for 10 people, cognitive-behavioral therapy for 5 children, or providing two weeks’ worth of food for the Casa Agar Maternal Centre.

Natașa Ungureanu, Executive Director of Touched Romania, shared what this event meant for the association:

“Thank you for the warmth with which we were welcomed into your company and for the generosity and joy with which you shopped, knowing that you were doing a good deed. The support you have provided encourages us to continue helping vulnerable mothers and children.”

Touched Romania, an organization that changes lives

Touched Romania works to improve the lives of mothers and children facing difficult circumstances. Through dedicated programs, the organization provides material support, emotional and psychological counseling, as well as concrete solutions for social and professional reintegration.

One of its flagship programs is the Casa Agar Maternal Center, a space that provides single mothers with the support they need to raise their children in a safe environment, thereby preventing abandonment and family separation. In addition, the association runs programs for vulnerable children, aiming to ensure stability and continuity of family ties.

When Small Gestures Lead to Real Change

When people unite around a goal, small acts create real change in others’ lives. For the Leviatan team, the Spring Charity Trinkets Market shows that an organization can be effective and compassionate.

What truly matters are moments when support reaches those who need it: when a child receives life-changing help or a mother feels supported. If 313 spring trinkets can achieve this, imagine what a community can do by choosing to do good year after year.
