In an interview with Agenda Construcțiilor in June 2026, Cătălin Podaru, Founder and CEO of Leviatan Group, discussed the strategic directions of the group of companies in a context where the construction market remains marked by pressures, adjustments, and the need for predictability. Public investments are seen as the main driver of the industry for the 2027–2030 period. Still, the actual pace of development will depend on the continuity of funding, the stability of the legislative framework, and the capacity to implement projects.
Leviatan Group is consolidating its position in highly complex public and special projects, with major investments underway in sectors such as healthcare, defense, and security. Some of the group’s key projects include the design and construction of the new Clinical Hospital for Pneumology and Infectious Diseases in Brașov, the development of new facilities at Air Base 86 in Borcea, and the modernization of facilities at the Valea Poienii training ground.
A key focus for the coming period is accelerating digital transformation by integrating automation, generative artificial intelligence, and AI role-playing avatars into operational workflows. Leviatan Group thus aims to reduce risks from technical inconsistencies, increase the speed and quality of processes, and give specialists more time for activities where human expertise delivers real value.
